Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WassapViews website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by the WassapViews team ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

WassapViews helps people grow their WhatsApp audience by sharing a compiled daily contact file (VCF) that participants may download and save. Features may include free submissions, optional paid tiers (such as a daily styling token or subscription), homepage Spotlight listings, display advertising, brand-related naming in compiled files where offered, and related tools. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice, except where we are legally required to give notice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must meet any minimum age required by applicable law (typically at least 16, or higher where required). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping any account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

3. What you submit

You may submit contact details and related information ("Submissions") for inclusion in shared compilations and related displays as described on the Service. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to share the phone number and name you submit;
• Your Submissions do not violate applicable law or third-party rights;
• You will not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• You understand that other participants may save your contact information when they use the Service.

We may refuse, remove, edit, delay, or block Submissions or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, create risk, or harm the community or our operations.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, harassment, fraud, or illegal activity;
• Attempt to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or rate limits;
• Upload malware or interfere with the Service or other users;
• Misuse payment systems, chargebacks, or promotions;
• Collect or process personal data of other users beyond what the Service expressly allows.

5. Paid services and billing

Certain features require payment. Prices, currencies, and payment methods (for example Paystack or Flutterwave) are shown at checkout or in your dashboard. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method. Taxes may apply where required by law.

Refunds. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are generally non-refundable once the Service or content delivery has started or the payment has been settled. For billing disputes, contact us through the Help Center; we may require reasonable evidence of the issue.

Subscriptions. Where recurring billing applies, you are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. Renewal terms and cancellation steps are described in the product interface.

6. Spotlight, advertising, and promotional placements

Paid placements (including Spotlight, display ads, or brand suffix campaigns where available) are subject to operator review, scheduling, and our content standards. We may reject, pause, or remove creative assets or copy that we reasonably deem misleading, unlawful, infringing, or harmful to users or our brand. Placement dates, inventory, and formats may change.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding your Submissions), is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for its intended personal or business purpose in line with these Terms. You retain rights in your Submissions; you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, compile, distribute as part of the VCF or related files, and operate the Service in connection with your Submissions.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY LEVEL OF WHATSAPP STATUS VIEWS, BUSINESS RESULTS, FILE AVAILABILITY AT A SPECIFIC TIME, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE (AND OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

10. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WassapViews and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Submissions, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or creates risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7–10, 12, and 13) will survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to provide additional notice (for example a banner or email where we have your address). Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Nigeria will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of your own country as a consumer.
